It's about time. Sustainable development in the real-estate industry.

Climatic change is an established fact, which is why the real-estate industry must examine its strategies and solution approaches. Reducing CO2 emissions and implementing measures that protect the environment are increasingly considered relevant requirements to be met by buildings and their quality. One of the factors behind sustainability is property location – something that applies to rapidly growing mega-cities and metropolitan areas in developed industrialized nations in particular.

Green future. Dictates of economic reason.

The fact that investments should generate the greatest possible yields and meet ecological, social and ethical requirements at the same time is a trend that is gradually picking up speed. Compared to other types of investments, socially responsible investments (SRI) are experiencing above-average growth both in the United States and Europe. In light of growing energy costs and increasingly strict environmental requirements, for purely economic reasons, soon investors will have no choice but to incorporate more sustainability into their real-estate assets. The growing number of real-estate companies and institutional investors in the United States that are dedicated to this development proves that it is already possible to earn more money with "green buildings".
