Hermann Aukamp is Chief Investment Offiver of Nordrheinische Ärzteversorgung NAEV in Düsseldorf. The pension fund has access to a broad real estate portfolio, ranging from domestic direct investments and project development, to special funds, limited partnership investments in North America, and Asia, to international real estate stock and REIT funds. Hermann Aukamp is Chairman and member of various investment advisory boards and supervisory committees, and advises institutions in structuring their real estate investments. |

Joe Valente is Head of the Portfolio & Strategy Division at Allianz Real Estate GmbH. In this role, he is responsible for the performance of the real estate portfolio of Allianz, as well as the development of a global strategy for the real estate division. After earning his degree in Geography at Newcastle University (Master of Letters) and Middlesex University (Bachelor of Science, with honours), Joe Valente worked as Research Manager at Ecotec Research & Consulting. He then moved to DTZ in 1984, where he became worldwide head of the Research & Strategy Division. In 2008 he moved to Allianz Real Estate GmbH. Joe Valente is a member of the Society of Property Researchers and the Strategic Planning Society. He is also a member of the Executive Board of CDP Foundation, the British Property Federation, and the Investment Property Forum. |
