| Prof. Dr. Ramón Sotelo, Junior Professor Real Estate Economy, Bauhaus-University Weimar, Weimar |
Prof. Dr. Ramon Sotelo, Immobilienökonom (ebs) und Certified Shopping Center Manager, studierte Be-triebswirtschaftslehre an der Freien Universität Berlin und promovierte im Jahre 2001 zum Thema Ökonomische Grundlagen der Wohnungspolitik bei Prof. Dr. Karl-Werner Schulte. Nach Tätigkeiten als Makler und Bauträger sowie als Generalsekretär von Haus und Grund Deutschland wurde Herr Sotelo 2003 zum Juniorprofessor für Immobilienökonomie an der Bauhaus-Universität Weimar ernannt, wo er sich im Jahre 2006 als Hochschullehrer bewährt hat. Professor Sotelo leitete sieben Jahre den Arbeitskreis Immobilienanlageprodukte der Gesellschaft für Immobilienwirtschaftliche Forschung e.V. (gif), ist Mitherausgeber der Zeitschrift für Immobilienökonomie (ZIÖ) und des European Journals of Real Estate Research und ist Mitglied im Vorstand der European Real Estate Society (ERES), für dessen Jahreskonferenz 2006 in Weimar er verantwortlich war. 2007 wurde Prof. Sotelo zum Präsidenten der ERES mit der Amtszeit 2008-2009 gewählt. |

Alessandro Bronda was recruited in April 2005 by Aberdeen Property Investors and is Head of Investment Strategy. He is based in Brussels and is responsible for various research activities including forecasting property returns performance across various sectors for Europe and Asia. In addition he is also responsible for devising investment strategy plans for institutional clients. Prior to joining Aberdeen, Alessandro was Head of European Research for the Catella Property Group. Before joining Catella he worked for Security Capital, a major American REIT, where he assisted in the investment decision-making process through research. Prior to taking up the position with Security Capital in 1998 he worked for Eurostat in Luxembourg and for the Ifo Institute for Economic Research in Munich. Alessandro holds a Masters Degree in Economics from the Ludwig-Maximilians-University of Munich and speaks four languages fluently. Alessandro is also founding member of the “Pan-European Property Common Interest Group” (PEPCIG) and board member of the “European Real Estate Society” (ERES). |
