Maria Puetz-Willems is the founder and editor in chief of www.hospitalityInside.com.
In March 2005, the online magazine for the international hotel management was launched. Based in Augsburg, Germany the magazine publishes in two languages (German/English) every Friday, focuses on pure editorial content (no advertisements), geographically on continental Europe. The content is based on own research and background articles. Readers are the executives from the hotel industry (chains and upscale private hotels), banking, project development, consulting etc in 20 countries today. Before taking this big step, Maria Puetz-Willems worked as a freelancer for 16 years. From 1989 to 2005, she contributed to leading hotel trade, economic and lifestyle media in Germany, Switzerland and UK.
She started her career with a classical 2 year traineeship at a small regional newspaper in Germany, followed by 5 years as an editor with the daily paper "Saarbruecker Zeitung" and 2 years with the hotel trade magazine "Top hotel", Germany.
In October 2002, she released her first book "Wellness + Wirtschaft - professionell und profitabel" ("Wellness + Economy - professional and profitable") as publisher and co-author. A second book on "medical spas" is in progress.
Since 2003, she speaks as an expert on wellness at trade fairs and association conferences. For four years (2003-2006) she was a guest speaker on wellness at Salzburg University of Applied Sciences. In 2008 she started to lecture at the University of Applied Sciences, Bad Honnef (for Hospitality Real Estate Management/spa-topics).
In 2004 Maria Puetz-Willems co-organised the 1st "Forum Wellness" at ITB Berlin, the world's largest tourism fair in Berlin. Since 2006 she is responsible for the content development and moderation of the hotel conference "Hospitality Day" at ITB Berlin. At the EXPO REAL 2008 Munich she organised the sessions of the "Hospitality Industry Dialogue" for the first time.

Jasper Muller worked in the real estate advisory teams at consulting firms Andersen and Deloitte, with a focus on property development. Jasper is a graduate of Delft University of Technology (Real Estate & Housing) and Amsterdam School of Real Estate (Master of Real Estate). As the head of citizenM’s acquisition department Jasper now utilizes his real estate experience and network to source suitable development opportunities for the roll out of citizenM hotels. |

1987-1989 3 Jahre Kreditabwicklung von notleidenden Bauherrenmodellen, von 1989-1992 Sachbearbeiter für gewerbliche Immobilienfinanzierungen in den neuen Bundesländern
ab 1992 Sachbearbeiter für Immobilienfinanzierungen in NRW, ab 1993 Verhinderungsvertreter des Gruppenleiters.
Seit 2000 Gruppenleiter NRW, seit 2003 alleinige Zuständigkeit im NORD/LB-Konzern für alle größeren inländischen Hotelfinanzierungen (ab € 5 Mio.) nebst Beratung der angeschlossenen Sparkassen in Niedersachsen, Sachsen-Anhalt und MV.
Ab 1.10.08 (voraussichtlich) Gruppenleiter NRW in der Deutschen Hypo AG in Hannover. Die DHB ist eine Tochter der NORD/LB, nachdem die NORD/LB diese Anfang 2008 gekauft hat. In der DHB werden
sämtliche Immobilienaktivitäten der DHB (alt) und der NORD/LB konzentriert.
Hotelerfahrung seit 1989, als die NORD/LB den ersten größeren Hotelneubau in Sachsen nach westlichem Standard finanziert hat. |
