The New Munich Trade Fair Centre on the grounds of the former airport at Riem is only 8 kilometres to the east of the city centre and is easy to reach both by car and public transport. The trade fair grounds are linked with the city centre by the A94 motorway and with Germany's road network and Munich Airport by the Motorway Ring East.

By public transport You have free use of all Munich public transport (MVV - urban railway, underground, trams and buses) from the day before to the day after the trade fair against presentation of your exhibitor's pass. Visitors also have free use of Munich public transport on all 3 days of the fair against presentation of their admission ticket.

By underground The underground U2 takes you directly to the New Munich Trade Fair Centre. You get out at Messestadt West.

Trade fair shuttle bus During EXPO REAL, a SHUTTLE BUS SERVICE will operate between the airport and the New Munich Trade Fair Centre. The buses will run non-stop to the fair at 30 minute-intervals.
Please note: During EXPO REAL the trade fair shuttle bus will operate between the airport and Entrance North of the New Munich Trade Fair Centre.

Fares: Single ticket: EUR 7; Return ticket: EUR 12. The journey takes about 45 minutes, depending on the volume of traffic.

By urban railway Two routes take you from the airport to EXPO REAL: S1 to Feldmoching and then change to underground U2, which takes you directly to the trade fair grounds, or S8 to Ostbahnhof, change to U5 to Innsbrucker Ring, then change to U2 to the trade fair centre.

By car Simply follow the road signs to the trade fair grounds. There you will find plenty of parking space. Direct link with the A94 Munich-Passau motorway, exit München-Riem or Feldkirchen-West.
