It is finally here: EXPO REAL, the Commercial Property Exposition, opens its gates today. As a global marketplace and international networking platform, this year's EXPO REAL is bringing together more than 1,800 companies and more than 20,000 locations, experts and decision-makers from the global real-estate industry. The theme of this year's opening and one of the main themes of EXPO REAL 2007 is sustainability in the real-estate industry. This and several other topics will be presented and discussed at EXPO REAL between now and October 10, 2007. We join you in looking forward to a successful exhibition, interesting discussions and promising projects.

Exciting opening discussion with a panel of prominent guests.

Today's opening at 10:30 a.m., EXPO REAL FORUM, Hall B3, will include an exciting discussion with a first-rate panel of speakers on the topic "Sustainability and investments - a burden or a new opportunity for the real-estate industry?" Prominent panel members include Dr. Engelbert Lütke Daldrup, State Secretary, German Ministry for Transport, Construction and Urban Development, Berlin, Prof. Tim Dixon, Professor of Real Estate, Co-Director of Oxford Institute for Sustainable Development, Oxford Brookes University, Oxford, Dieter Ullsperger, Spokesman for the Managing Board, aurelis Real Estate, Eschborn, Wil van der Have, General Manager, Board Member of ING Real Estate Development, Den Haag, and Peter Wynne Rees, City Planning Officer, City of London Corporation.

The extensive programme of conferences at EXPO REAL will give experts and prominent speakers a chance to inform the international commercial real-estate community about the latest trends and innovations. In addition to the opening discussion, highlights at the EXPO REAL FORUM include the main press conference at 2 p.m. on Monday and the 10th anniversary discussion and subsequent celebration at 2 p.m. on Wednesday. You can also follow several other events in the conference programme on WebTV starting tomorrow, October 9, 2007.

Hotel shuttle. |
|
|
From October 8 - 10, free shuttle service will be provided between several downtown hotels and the trade-fair centre. Busses depart every 30 minutes, providing service to EXPO REAL beginning at 7 a.m. in the mornings and returning to the hotels until 8 p.m. in the evening.
