Andrea Carpenter, Director Research & Market Information, INREV European Association for Investors in Non-Listed Real Estate Vehicles, Amsterdam

Andrea Carpenter is Director of Research and Market Information for INREV, the European Association for Investors in Non-listed Real Estate Vehicles. This role oversees the association’s research agenda as well as the INREV Vehicles Database and the INREV Index. Andrea Carpenter started in the real estate industry as a journalist working for the UK titles Building and Property Week before editing EuroProperty magazine, a specialised finance and development title, for seven years. Before joining INREV, Andrea Carpenter worked as Managing Director for the Centre of Regeneration and Sustainability for Urban Land Institute ULI.

Alessandro Bronda, Head of Investment Strategy, Aberdeen Property Investors, Brussels

Alessandro Bronda was recruited in April 2005 by Aberdeen Property Investors and is Head of Investment Strategy. He is based in Brussels and is responsible for various research activities including forecasting property returns performance across various sectors for Europe and Asia. In addition he is also responsible for devising investment strategy plans for institutional clients. Prior to joining Aberdeen, Alessandro was Head of European Research for the Catella Property Group. Before joining Catella he worked for Security Capital, a major American REIT, where he assisted in the investment decision-making process through research. Prior to taking up the position with Security Capital in 1998 he worked for Eurostat in Luxembourg and for the Ifo Institute for Economic Research in Munich. Alessandro holds a Masters Degree in Economics from the Ludwig-Maximilians-University of Munich and speaks four languages fluently. Alessandro is also founding member of the “Pan-European Property Common Interest Group” (PEPCIG) and board member of the “European Real Estate Society” (ERES).
