Company's activity: Bulgarian Land Development EAD (BLD) is a company incorporated to act as a residential and commercial property developer in Bulgaria. BLD was admitted to the AIM market of London Stock Exchange in March 2006, following a share placing, which reached a market capitalization of £25 million on flotation. In March 2007 the company raised its capital to £40 million. In October 2006 BLD launched its first project in Bulgaria - Harmony Hills in the village of Rogachevo. The resort was officially opened in August, 2008 as more than 80 % of all property units were sold or reserved. In 2007 BLD added 4 new projects in its portfolio: the planning phase of a high-end luxury residential project in the exclusive Lozenetz district of Sofia, in a close proximity to Kempinski-Zografski Hotel (BLD Sofia Tower) started; July Morning Seaside Resort near the Black Sea town of Kavarna was launched in August; Riverland Ski & Leisure Resort near the famous ski resort Borovets was officially presented in November 2007; two off-plan investments in the southern black sea city of Sozopol and the ski hot spots of Bansko and Pamporovo were successfully completed. In Q1 and Q2 of 2008 BLD closed the deal for acquiring 5 of 8 buildings of the former Printing House »Dimitar Blagoev« in Sofia. This project is the company's first commercial property investment and it will become a landmark office centre for the capital of Bulgaria. BLD's future plans include the acquisition of prospective plots of land near Sofia in order to develop residential estates in the suburbs of the city.
