• Successful concept for this international property conference continues in a new market

Despite the success of the last EXPO REAL ASIA in December 2006 in Macau, Messe München has decided to move the event on to a new location. Because of its flourishing property sector, Macau was the right venue in 2006. But unlike Europe, where the EXPO REAL property fair has an established location in Munich, the EXPO REAL ASIA property conference changes its venue to follow the regional market trends in the much larger continent of Asia. Accordingly, before Macau, the event was held in Shanghai and Tokyo. Currently Messe München is looking at a range of countries before choosing one as the location for the next event.

The next EXPO REAL in Munich, now the 10th International Commercial Property Exposition, takes place from 8 to 10 October 2007. This trade fair, based in Munich, is continuing to expand rapidly – in 2007 it will again grow by one more hall, bringing the total to six exhibition halls, covering 63,000 square metres. This represents an increase of around 20 percent in space since last time. All this positive growth is due above all to a strong rise in international demand. As well as exhibitors form Germany, France, Great Britain, the Netherlands and Spain, more and more companies from eastern and southeastern Europe and the Middle East are using EXPO REAL as a platform for finding investors for a wide range of property projects. At the last EXPO REAL over one third of the total exhibition space was booked by companies from outside Germany.

EXPO REAL
EXPO REAL, the 10th International Commercial Property Exposition, takes place from 8 to 10 October 2007 at the New Munich Trade Fair Centre. The event is an international platform for networking on projects, investment and finance. It covers the entire spectrum of the property sector and brings together players from all the key markets from Europe, to Russia, the Middle East and the US. An extensive conference programme, featuring around 400 speakers, provides an in-depth overview of current trends and innovations in property investment and finance. EXPO REAL 2006 attracted 1,638 exhibitors from 40 countries and 21,112 visitors from 65 countries. The statistics for EXPO REAL are independently audited on behalf of the Gesellschaft zur Freiwilligen Kontrolle von Messe- und Ausstellungszahlen (FKM), a society for the voluntary control of fair and exhibition statistics.
